Obituary of Maria Anne Troop

Maria Anne Troop (nee Dolphin), age 57 of Folsom passed away on July 4, 2020. Born and raised in Upper Darby, Maria was a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She later worked as the secretary to the President of The University of Pennsylvania. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing at the beach and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Most importantly, Maria was a great mother to her 3 sons who will miss her greatly. She is predeceased by her mother Maria Dolphin. She is survived by her children Matthew (Michelle Barrett) Troop, Thomas John "TJ" Troop, and Wayne (Erica Marciano) Troop, Jr., as well as their father Wayne Troop, Sr. She is also survived by her father Walter Dolphin, significant other Nicholas Repholz, siblings Michael (Nancy) Dolphin, Patricia (Michael) Florkowski, and George (Shannon) Dolphin, and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, July 11 at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, 950 Michigan Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081 Visitation: 9:30-10:30AM on Saturday prior to mass Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA
