Obituary of Thomas Brian Turner

Thomas Brian Turner, age 61 of Kennett Square, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2020. Tom was born in Ridley Park, and graduated from Collingdale High School. He worked for many years doing iron work, building maintenance, and lastly in the automotive field as a mechanic. He loved all sports, especially The Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers. He enjoyed cooking, especially his famous chili recipe, fishing, and spending time with his family. Tom was always there to lend a hand when needed and was a dedicated family man. He is predeceased by his parents William and Jane Tuner, and brothers Daniel, Michael, William, and Steven. Survivors: Loving companion Daphne and her children Bruce and Kali of Kennett Square, sister Susan (Michael) of Springfield, brothers Hughie (MaryEllen) of Upland, and Donald (Diane) of Upper Darby, his Aunt Peggy (Walt) of Delaware as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 4pm on Wednesday, July 22, at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036 Viewing: 3-4pm on Wednesday prior to the service.
