Joseph W. Strouse "Joe" "Arco" age 79 of Sharon Hill passed away October 31, 2020. Joe was born October 10, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Urban and Eleanor Strouse. He was the seventh of nine children. Joe was educated in the Philadelphia School System and was a former parishioner of St. Francis de Sales in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joe worked many years for Paul's Radiators. He formerly worked for Children and Adult Disability and Educational Services (CADES) and retired from Elwyn where he was a caretaker for David Finn. He loved to go fishing and participated in numerous pool and dart tournaments. When weather permitted Joe could be found sitting on the porch listening to his favorite music and bird watching. He had a special knack for telling jokes and always had a witty response or comment that kept a smile on everyone's face. When asked what his nickname ARCO meant he responded, "A Real Cool Operator". Joe was especially proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He stated the pride of his life was keeping his children together. He loved without boundaries. If he could help you in any way, he would not hesitate to do whatever he could, whether it be physical or financial. Joe will surely be missed by both family and friends.
