Obituary of Donna C. Petril

Donna C. Petril (nee Orfanelli), age 61 of Holmes, passed away at home surrounded by her family on April 3, 2021. A graduate of Prendergast Catholic High School, Donna went on to cosmetology school to be a hairdresser. She formerly owned Dante Pizza in Prospect Park. A devoted wife, mother, and animal lover, Donna rescued many animals. She enjoyed the holidays spent with her family. Donna was cared for and loved during her illness by her husband Tony, and daughters Alexis, Dana, son Dante, and granddaughter Jasmine. She is predeceased by her father Joseph Orfanelli, brother Tommy Orfanelli, and stepson Nicholas Petril. Survivors: Beloved wife of Anthony L. Petril, loving mother of Alexis (Rocco) Messina, Gina (Matt) Petril, Dana (Michael) Palladino, Carol Romolini, Kristen (Josh) Petril, and Dante Petril, step-mother of Anthony Petril, grandmother of 17, cherished daughter of Carol Orfanelli, sister of Joseph (Annie) Orfanelli, Steven Orfanelli, Daniel (Lisa) Orfanelli, and Debbie (Steve) McElroy, sister in law of Robert Petril, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass: 12pm on Sat., April 10, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Ave, Morton, PA. Viewing: 10am-12pm on Sat. at the church Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
