Obituary of Mary M. Welch

Mary M. Welch (nee Schmidt), age 77 of Upper Darby, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 26, 2021. A graduate of Collingdale High School, Mary spent her life in sales for various department stores. She enjoyed puzzles and cryptograms, dancing & ladybugs. Mary was an avid fan of Jeopardy and rarely missed a show since its beginning. She was a friendly, outgoing person who liked everyone; there was rarely a person who didn't take an instant liking to her when they met her. She is the widow of Raymond Carson, and predeceased by her parents John and Barbara Schmidt, and second husband Guy Welch, Sr. Survivors: Loving mother of Debbie (Fred) Naddeo, Terry M. Carson, Tricia F. Stewart, and beloved Teresé, stepmother of Guy (Casey) Welch, Jr., cherished grandmother of Christopher and Kimberly McNally, Jamie and Michael Naddeo, Theresa Tomaszewski, Brian McAleer, Matthew and Christiana Stewart, and Peyton Welch, dear great grandmother of Sean and Owen McNally, dear sister of Barbara Fox, John (Faye) Schmidt, Elizabeth Koropchak, and Edward Schmidt, as well as many nieces, nephews, and family.
