Obituary of Robert William Keenen

Robert W. Keenen "Bob", age 54 of Glenolden, PA. passed away suddenly and peacefully on May 23, 2021 at home.

Originally from Southwest Philadelphia, youngest of four children, he worked in the petroleum inspection and tank calibration business for over 30 years, including starting his own tank calibration company.

He loved cooking, entertaining and hosting parties. He also loved playing pinochle, darts, horse shoes, and just about anything competitive. Lately he dedicated his life to the care and companionship of his father. He was a devout Catholic at our Lady of Fatima Parish, having found a deep joy in his relationship with Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

He also loved travelling to Ireland and was very proud of his Irish heritage. Love of music, especially classic rock, was one of his greatest attributes. He was always fine-tuning the sound quality, similar to his life. He will be missed dearly.

He is predeceased by his mother, Anita C. Keenen.

Survived by his father, Joseph T. Keenen, Sr., father of Tiffanie and Katelyn Keenen, dear grandfather of Hadley J. Demyan brother of Kathy (Bill) Orr, Donna (Bill) Sarog and Joseph (Rosemary) Keenen, as well as aunts, uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved spending quality time with his nieces and nephews, but most of all he loved his daughters and granddaughter Hadley, as a very proud grandfather.

Funeral Service: 10:30AM on Fri. May 28, 2021 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden.

Viewing: 9:30-10:30AM on Fri. at the funeral home. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
