Obituary of Lindsay J. Moffitt

Please share a memory of Lindsay to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lindsay J. Moffitt age 38 of Clifton Heights formerly of Darby and Ridley Park passed away on June 24, 2021 at home.

Lindsay was a 2001 graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. She continued her education at Jean Madeline Institute studying the cosmetology trade. She applied that learning for some years as a hair stylist and was also a dedicated restaurant professional. She spent many years wearing different hats in the food service industry. She most recently shined at Cedar Craft & Kitchen.

Lindsay had a passion for helping others and was always seeking out ways to grow and improve. These traits led her back to school at Philadelphia Community College for her certification as a Recovery Specialist. That allowed her to do such important work in recent years by managing recovery houses and working with Supreme Wellness in the addiction community.

Lindsay was a devoted mother to Michaela & JT. She stayed busy working to help provide for her children. She never missed a school event and prioritized her kids above all else. Her love for them was tremendous. She was also a dedicated aunt. She was a fun & loving part of her nieces and nephews lives.

Growing up Lindsay was a talented athlete. Playing softball came naturally to her. Cheerleading made her a star. There was nothing better than watching her tumble and fly. She had many life long friendships that came out of those sports teams and her childhood neighborhood.

Lindsay was a caring, selfless, giving person. If you were her friend, you were lucky because there was nothing she would not do for you in a moments notice. She had beautiful flashes of a full and vibrant life. That is how she would want to be remembered. Happy & laughing, as a good friend. With her eyebrows on fleek and her nails perfectly manicured. With a cold can of Pepsi and a cigarette planning her next day with a million things to juggle running from job to job, FaceTiming with the kids…just being busy, putting in the work. That's when she was her happiest and that is how we will always remember her, with love and light.
