Obituary of Mary June McCann

Mary June McCann, 68, of Norwood, PA lost her battle to cancer surrounded by family on July 29, 2021. Mary is survived by her daughter Alicia Naccarella (Tony), son Sean McCann, dear sisters Irene Brusco (Joe) Janet Ruggeri, loving granddaughters Lucinda and Lilyana, nieces, nephews and caring father of her children Michael. Mary is predeceased by her parents Albert and Mary, brother Albert and brother-in-law Joseph. Mary was a loving mother, "Mom-Mom" and friend to all. Mary was a graduate of West Catholic Girls High School, obtained multiple insurance licenses to work as an account manager for USI Affinity, formerly The Administrator's Inc. She was a dedicated employee that took pride and valued hard work until she fell ill. She took great joy in the simplest pleasures in life, enjoyed a quiet evening watching her favorite shows and of course with a cup of tea in hand. She liked trips to the casino, playing computer games and frequenting restaurants. Mary was most happy spending time with her family and cherished spending time with her granddaughters making cookies, watching their sports or doing fun holiday activities, it just made her day. She had a great sense of humor, an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and would make friends anywhere she went. In Mary June, you had a friend for life, with her pleasant personality you could always count on her to make you smile, to lend an ear, give advice or cheer you up when you are down. A Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 12:30pm and a Memorial Service at 12:30 pm on Monday, 8/16, at McCauseland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA.
