James P. Marcolongo "Jim", age 78 of Folcroft, formerly from Sharon Hill, passed away on November 4, 2021. Jim attended Bartram High School before honorably serving in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Elaine, in 1965, and has been a doting husband ever since. Jim went on to work as a crane repair mechanic for Westinghouse, as well as an independent trucking contractor before his retirement in 2004. He loved all cars, vacationing in Florida, and spending time with his family and most of all his grandkids. He is predeceased by his parents Hannibal and Dorothy Marcolongo, and son James Marcolongo. Survivors: Cherished husband of Elaine Marcolongo (nee Matsinger), loving father of Kim (Anthony) Evangelist, Chris (Hilary) Marcolongo, and Leonard (Joyce) Marcolongo, beloved Pop Pop of Anthony, Christian, Zackary, and Noah. Funeral Service: 11AM on Friday 11/12 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA. Viewing: 10-11AM on Friday prior to the service.
