Obituary of Thomas John Troop

Thomas John Troop "TJ", age 30 of Ridley Township, passed away at home on November 16, 2021. Born and raised in Ridley Township, TJ graduated from Ridley High School Class of 2009, then continued his education at Delaware County Community College where he received his Associate Degree in Business. With a strong work ethic, TJ worked in the construction industry and practiced many trades alongside his father. He enjoyed the outdoors, Hiking and especially fishing. TJ loved action sports like skateboarding and snowboarding. He spent years traveling and performing in Diving shows. TJ had a green thumb when it came to plants, and a need for speed when it came to engines. Most of all, TJ loved spending time with his family and friends. He is predeceased by his mother Maria Anne Troop, and grandparents Maria Dolphin and Bill and Ethel Troop. Survivors: Beloved son of Wayne A. (Donna Goodwin) Troop, loving brother of Matthew (Michelle Barrett) Troop and Wayne (Erica Marciano) Troop Jr., dear grandson of Walter Dolphin, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: 9-10:30AM on Wednesday 11/24 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA. Prayer Service: 10:30AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA.
