Betty J. Beatty (nee Hart), 90, a resident of Norwood, PA, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on March 30, 1931, in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late Lester and Blanche Hart. Betty married her husband, Frederick T. An avid yard sale shopper, she would find children's clothing and other items and would bring everything home and give it away to all of her family, whoever needed anything. She made Easter baskets every year for all her grand and great-grandchildren, having a large party for them at her home. Betty enjoyed crocheting and made beautiful sweater and hat sets for the new babies in the family. She also made afghans for each family member as a wedding present, personalized with their names and wedding date. Betty was a member of the Delaware Valley Water Garden Society (Pond Club) and loved her backyard pond, filled with Koi and frogs. She enjoyed going on tours with the Pond Club, visiting ponds at people's homes throughout the Delaware Valley area.
