Obituary of Edith A. Smith

Edith A. "Edie" Smith, age 82 of Honey Brook, formerly of Glenolden, passed away on December 24, 2021.

She was born in Hazelton and raised in Glenolden where she graduated from Interboro High School. She loved playing hand bells and singing in the choir at her church and also enjoyed playing chimes at Tel Hai Community.

She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Marie (Ackerman) Smith, brother Walter, and baby sister.

Survived by her sister Eleanor L. Smith, a special Aunt Lois, and many cousins.

Funeral Service: 10AM on Mon. 1/3 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA.

Viewing: 9-10AM at the funeral home

Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens

A memorial service will be held at 10AM on Sat. 1/15 at StoneCroft Center for Worship and Performing Arts of the Tel Hai Community, 4000 Treeline Drive, Honey Brook PA 19344
