Obituary of William R. Batchelor

William R. "Bill" Batchelor, age 57 and a lifelong resident of Delaware County, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2022. Growing up in Collingdale, Bill was the son of Roland and the late Margaret Batchelor. A graduate of Interboro High School Class of 1982, Bill went on to be an over the road truck driver for many years, and later a driving instructor. He enjoyed raising his pet, and exotic bird named "Oscar". A family man, Bill was most proud to be a loving and devoted Poppop to his granddaughter Caralina. He is predeceased by his mother Margaret Batchelor, and brother Robert "Bobby" Batchelor. Survivors: Loving father of Clare, Dave, and Ben Batchelor, dear son of Roland Batchelor, adoring grandfather of Caralina Batchelor, cherished brother of Janet Batchelor, and uncle of John O'Donnell and Ryan Batchelor. Visitation will be held from 10:30-12 Noon on Wednesday March 9th at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036. Services and burial will be held privately.
