Jeremiah P. Glavin, Jr., age 67 of Norwood, passed away on March 2, 2022. Born and raised in SW Philadelphia, Jeremiah worked alongside his father at their family's grocery store for many years before going on to have his own store. He was an active member of Good Shepard CYO and a coach for the athletic department for many years. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies. Most importantly, he was a devoted "Pop Pop" to his grandchildren, as well as loving "Uncle Buck" to his many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many. He is predeceased by his parents Grace and Jeremiah P. Glavin, Sr., and siblings Neil and Marianne Glavin. Survivors: Loving husband of Karen Glavin, dear step-father of Frankie Hogan and Michael (Jessica) Hogan, Sr., cherished Pop Pop of Gianna, Michael, Jayla, Shane, and Connor, beloved brother of Kathleen (Joe) Masciantonio, Patrick (Sheila) Glavin, Brian (Felecia) Glavin, and Tim (Hope) Glavin, and brother in law of Marci Glavin, as well as many nieces, nephews, and very special Godchildren. Funeral Mass: 11AM on Tuesday, March 8th, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood PA. Viewing: 9:30-11AM on Tuesday prior to mass in church. A Rosary will be said at 9:15AM prior to the viewing. Burial: Private In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Philabundance, 3616 S Galloway St, Philadelphia, PA 19148
