Gwendolyn "Gwen" Clark Krushinsky, age 82 and a longtime resident of Glenolden and Folcroft, passed away on April 1st, 2022. Born in Upper Darby, Gwen was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Delaware County Community College. She worked in various positions for Cigna Insurance for over 30 years before her retirement. She also spent a brief time working at Silver's 5+10, Rozphock Insurance Agency, Jerry Hampton Furniture, and Avon. Gwen served as President and former treasurer of St. George Seniors, member of Glenolden Borough SRS, leader of Contemporary Villages Chicks, and former member of Ridley Park Over 50, Ashland Middle School Parents, and Folcroft Girls Club. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Frances Hurst Clark, and siblings Sandy Mizell, Gini Hendershot, and Robert Clark. Survivors: Loving mother of Karen (Shawn) Deal, cherished grandmother of Caitlin Krushinsky, sister of Judy Wagner and Jayne Lester. There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, April 24th from 1-2 PM at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home located at 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon from 2:30-5 PM in the upstairs banquet hall at the American Legion Post 358 located at 19 E. Baltimore Pike, Clifton Heights, PA 19018. Interment will be private at a later date.
