Obituary of Laurence F. Doney

Laurence F. Doney "Larry" age 66 of Lansdowne (formerly of Drexel Hill) passed away on June 2, 2022 surrounded by his family. Larry graduated from St. Joe's Prep where he played soccer and was instrumental in starting the club for ice hockey. He received his bachelor's degree from Temple University. Larry began his career as a mechanic at DiFurio's Service Stations in Springfield and Havertown, PA. He worked for Georgia Pacific and LaFarge Gypsum at the Port of Wilmington in Delaware as a Maintenance Foreman and at Mardinly Enterprises in Broomall PA as a machinist. He was an avid Flyers fan. He is predeceased by his parents Norman and Genevieve Doney. Survivors: Beloved husband of Claire L. Doney (nee Hennessey), loving father of Kimberly C. Doney and Timothy L. Doney, dear brother of James (Mary Jane) Doney. Funeral Service: 12 noon on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S.
