Lois R. Smith (nee Roan), age 92, passed away peacefully on August 1st, 2022.

Born and raised in Delaware County, PA, Lois was the devoted wife of Harry Smith for 47 years. She adored her family. Later in life, she went on to work as a bookkeeper for Devine Providence Village, a job she was very proud to do. She was also a dedicated member of Glenolden Congregational Church for over 50 years.

She is predeceased by her husband Harry Smith, parents Frank and Lillian Roan, children Ann (Phil) Pollock and Harry "Chip" Smith Jr., grandson Robert Dunlap, and siblings Frank (Helen) Roan and Robert "Bert" Roan.

Survivors: Beloved mother of Gail (the late John) Singley, loving grandmother of Michael (Kim) Dunlap, Sheri (Tom) Staub, Christopher (Kelly) Singley, Heather (Chuck) Schappell, and Phillip Pollock, beloved sister of Audrey (the late William) Hiddemen, sister in law of Kathy Roan, as well as 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10AM on Friday, Aug. 5, at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA

Viewing: 9-10AM on Friday at the funeral home

Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall PA

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Glenolden Congregational Church, 115 S Scott Ave, Glenolden, PA 19036
