Joan Morse, age 89 of Collingdale, passed away on August 31, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Joan attended St. Francis de Sales grade school. She went to West Catholic High School for Girls graduating in 1950 and attended University of Penn School of Nursing graduating in 1953 where she earned her degree to become a registered nurse. She went on to work for private doctors before retiring from Little Flower Manor Nursing Home.

As an avid golfer, Joan played with The 9 Holers and was a dedicated member of Edgemont Country Club. Along with her love for golf, she was a big sports fan. She loved basketball and baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies.

Joan was predeceased by her husband  of 63 years Gerald J. Morse, Sr., her sister Rita Hotchkiss, and her brother-in-law Edward McCullough.

Survivors: Loving mother of Gerald J. (Sharon) Morse, Jr., Thomas J. (Sheila) Morse, Paul (Joanne) Morse, and Steven J. (Nancy) Morse, dear grandmother of Kristen, Leanne, Rachel, Jeremy, Thomas, and Steven, adoring great grandmother of Ella, Quinn, Riley, Avery, Dominic, Emma, and Clementine, and beloved sister of Charles (Isabelle) Crunkleton, John (Linda) Crunkleton, Paul (Millie) Crunkleton, and Mary Frye, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at St. Eugene's Catholic Church, 200 S Oak Ave, Primos, PA 19018

Viewing: 9-10am on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in the church

Burial: Private
