Obituary of Ruth C Mercer

Ruth C. Mercer age 71 of Glenolden passed away on October 8, 2022 at home. Ruth retired from Magee Rehab where she worked as the executive assistant to the CMO. She was a member of the West End Boat Club. Ruth loved going to the shore and spent many years camping at Ocean View and Driftwood Campgrounds. She found nothing more relaxing than laying on the beach with a good book and soaking in the sun. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband William E. Mercer, parents Charles and Selma Brooks and her brother Charles Brooks Jr. Survivors: Loving mother of Susan (John) Sammartino, cherished GiGi of Chase Sammartino, dear sister of Bertie (Jack) Sproul and George (Maryellen) Brooks and many nieces and nephews.
