Obituary of Kathryn Mae McDevitt

Kathryn Mae McDevitt (nee Wingard), age 72 of Norwood, passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2022.

Kathryn was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Mars High School. She attended Pierce Business College, as well as Temple University, before starting her career as a real estate agent. Kathryn spent most of her 30 year long career as a realtor with Carr Real Estate before making the transition and retiring from Harper Real Estate. She enjoyed camping in New Jersey, and travelling back to Mars, PA to spend time with family. Kathryn loved reading, singing, dancing, and especially loved her pets.

She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Patricia Lamberson, brother Thomas Wingard, and in-laws Bertha and Eugene Keenan.

Survivor: Beloved wife of 52 years of Joseph McDevitt Sr., cherished mother of Joseph (Julia) McDevitt Jr., and Heather (Rich) Sculli, loving grandmother of Dylan McDevitt, dear sister of Sherry (Herbert) MacCombie, Darlene (Ken) Welsh, Gail (Steve) Allen, and Michelle (Arnie Toma) Lamberson, lifelong friend of Irene Chisholm, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held privately.
