Please share a memory of Nicholas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Nicholas J. Harper "Nick or Nicky" age 50 of Glenolden passed away on January 18, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Nicky graduated from St. Katherine's Day School. He had a deep passion and knowledge for classic rock, old TV sitcoms and was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan.

Nicky was a happy guy who brought so much joy to everyone he met. He always put others before himself and could truly light up a room. He enjoyed summer time, the beach, spending time at the Briarcliff pool, seeing live music with his family and meeting new people. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his 3 nieces, who loved him dearly.

Nicky was a fighter from the day he was born and went through many extensive surgeries, was on kidney dialysis for 19 years and continued to put one foot in front of the other while battling what he knew from that start was an incurable cancer. He did so with grace, dignity, integrity, courage and always a smile on his face. He will be missed and remembered by so many.

He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Anne Harper, siblings Ricky and Tommy Harper, nephews Tommy Harper and George Enright

Survivors: Loving brother of Joanne Serrano who cared for him, Michael (Karen) Harper, Linda Enright and Susan (Ron)Miller, special uncle of Melissa (Adam) Batchelor and Ryan( (Brittany) Serrano and cherished Godfather of Harper Batchelor, Hope Bachelor and Fawn Serrano, he is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and his companion Rosie.
