Obituary of Janice M. McWhorter

Janice Marie McWhorter, age 54 of Glenolden, was unexpectedly called home on January 27, 2023 at the age of 54.

Janice was born on February 8, 1968, in Camden New Jersey to the late Robert & Gearldin McWhorter. She grew up in Darby Township and graduated from Academy Park High School Class of "86".

Janice was a dedicated Nursing Assistant at Prospect Park Nursing Home for over 25 years. With a smile on her face, she worked every day with care and compassion with her residents and co-workers. She was the most loving, dedicated and supportive Mother. She cherished her grandchildren and was a vital part of their lives. She was a guiding light to her family, which she loved dearly.

Janice is survived by 3 daughters Fatina Culbreth, Katrina & Charmayne Greene of Glenolden PA, 3 sons Greg & DeVaughtne Greene of Upper Darby PA, and Dommonieke of DE, 6 loving grandchildren AJ, Laila, Brandon Jr., Arie, Kiki, and DJ, She is also survived by 3 sisters Ruby McWhorter, Sonja Swaggard, and Annette Rochester, 2 brothers Fred McWhorter,and her twin Kenneth Maurice McWhorter of Media, PA, and host of nieces and nephews. Cherished coworkers and friends of Annie Smith, Bernadette Youmans, and Vanita Stevenson, Lona & Brianna Blackston, Alexis Sowell, Loretta Rose
