Margaret M. Carey, "Peg", age 80 of Glenolden, passed away on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

Peg worked at the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company in the Sale Department until 1966 when she became a full time mother. Peg was a volunteer teacher's aid for 7 years at Our Lady of Fatima School before working for Philadelphia Law Firms doing anti-trust law and maritime law. Later she spent nearly 17 years at Cozen O'Conner in civil litigation before retiring in 2002.

She is predeceased by her parents Tom and Peggy (nee Hoey) Cain, brother Kevin Thomas Cain.

Survivors: Beloved wife of 58 years of Joseph M. "Pete" Carey, loving mother of Diane (Chris) Werner, Joseph M. (Connie) Carey and Stephen M. (Samantha) Carey, cherished grandmother of Brendan and Lauren Werner, Anna, Joshua and Liam Carey, Michael Carey and Thomas (Jana) Peyton, great grandmother of James and Jack Peyton, dear sister of Stephen, Thomas (Minyo), and John (Kathy) Cain, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and treasured friends, especially her two LYLAS.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr. Secane, PA .19018.

Viewing: 9:30-10:30a on Tues. in the church

Inurnment: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
