Obituary of Donald W Meek

Donald W. Meek "Don" age 87 of Secane went to be with the Lord on Sept. 22, 2023 and was surrounded by his family. Don worked for Boeing, Warner Company and Equity Meats and most recently as a host for the Philadelphia Phillies, a job that he loved and received the Employee of the Month award twice. He was an avid bowler who played in many leagues and senior games and was a Board Member and longtime member of Aquatic Swim Club. He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Freda Meek. Survivors: Beloved husband of 58 years of Elizabeth Meek, loving father of Nancy (Donovan) Gallagher and Richard Meek, cherished Pappie of Madylin and Benjamin, dear brother of James (Beverly) Meek and Edward Meek and nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: 10:30am Thurs., Sept. 28, 2023 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 Viewing: 7-9pm Wed., 9/27/2023 and 9:30-10:30 Thurs. 9/28/2023 both are held at the funeral home. Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
