Alan A. DeStefano of Glen Mills passed away at home on December 2L,2O23, al

the age af77.

 

Beloved husband of 44 years of Betty DeStefano, son in law of Elizabeth "Betty''

Murtaugh, brother-in-law of Thomas (Michelle) Murtaugh and Michael Murtaugh,

many cousins and friends, and his four-legged buddy Jet and the late Tar.

 

He is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Gloria DeStefano and his father-inlaw Thomas Murtaugh Sr.

 

Alan was a sports enthusiast; he loved watching the Phillies, Eagles and Sixers. As

an avid outdoors man, Alan enjoyed fishing and hunting especially his trips to

Africa and Northwest territories.

 

He also enjoyed traveling with his wife Betty to various places, particularly St John

in the US Virgin lslands.

 

He spent many hours training his Labrador Retrievers, Tar and Jet, and was

involved with Brookline Labrador Retrievers Rescue Group.

ln his later years, Alan could be found playing poker at the Borgata

Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036
