Obituary of Ellen M Marhanka

Ellen M. Marhanka, age 81 of Glenolden passed away on February 23, 2024. Born in Darby, Ellen graduated Darby High School and Eastern College. She retired as the office manager from First Presbyterian Church of Springfield where she worked for many years. She was a longtime member of Prospect Park United Methodist Church where she held many positions and formerly a Girl Scout Leader. She was a great artist; she enjoyed playing the piano, sewing and baking. She is predeceased by her husband Frederick Marhanka, parents Arthur and Ellen Osterdahl, brother Arthur Osterdahl and sister Dorothy Reese. Survivors: Loving mother of Frederick A. Marhanka and Ellen (David) Jackson, cherished grandmother of David, Shannon and Rebecca Jackson and Ulf and Arthur Marhanka. Memorial Service: 11am Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Prospect Park United Methodist Church, 800 Lincoln Ave Prospect Park PA. 19076.
