Louis Sacks age 76 of Aston, passed away March 21, 2024 surrounded by his loving family at home.
Lou was a graduate of Sharon Hill High School class of 1965. He was raised in Folcroft and enjoyed his lifelong bond with his childhood friends and neighbors. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, Lou served during Vietnam. He worked until its closing at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, as a Marine Machinist and worked prior to retirement for Valley Forge Military Academy in the security office. Lou was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast; he loved car shows and his annual motorcycle runs to support the veterans and Toys for Tots. Lou enjoyed his Dunkin Donuts coffee meetings with longtime friends. He enjoyed weekends at the beach with family and friends. Lou had a special compassion for animals. He enjoyed family celebrations and holiday parties. Lou was a devoted husband and a proud father and he will be dearly missed be all.
He is predeceased by his parents Bernard and Cecelia Sacks, brother Robert Sacks. Survivors: Beloved husband of Eileen M. (nee Martin) Sacks, loving father of Eileen A. Sacks, brother of Richard (Diane) Sacks, brother in law of Clara Claffy -Sacks (William) Reineck, Martin and Sacks families including the many nieces and nephews.
