Obituary of Frank E. Schopfer

Frank E. Schopfer Jr. age 69 of Drexel Hill passed away on April 10, 2010 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was raised in Upper Darby, PA. Mr. Schopfer graduated Upper Darby High School Class of 1958. He served in the US Air Force for four years. Mr. Schopfer worked for many years with his father at the family business Frank's Auto Repair Shop; He retired from the business in 2007. He works for Enterprise Car Rental where he transports cars for St. David's location and mostly recently for the Philadelphia Auto Mall. He was an avid model train collector, enjoyed traveling to muscle car show, listening country music and watching sports especially base ball, hockey and NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. Beloved son of Myrtle Schopfer and the late Frank E. Schopfer, Sr. Loving father of Linda (Ken) Dubois and Russell Schopfer. Cherished grandfather of Kara and Ryan Dubois and also survived by loving companion of Dee Doucette. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, April 15 at noon at McCausland-Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA. 19036.
