Obituary of Carmella M. Orsino

Carmella M. Orsino (nee Guglielmi), age 91 of Folcroft passed away on July 8, 2017.

She is predeceased by her adoring family who have gone before her: husband, Anthony J. Orsino, Sr., daughter, JoAnn M. Orsino, grandson, Ricky Orsino, son in law, Sean P. Flynn, Sr., and daughter in law, Muriel D. Orsino.

Survivors: Devoted mother of Barbara Ann Orsino, Anthony Orsino, Jr. Donna Marie Orsino, and Marie Orsino-Flynn, cherished grandmother of Anthony Michael (Blake), Christine, Ashley, and Sean (Kaitlin), loving great grandmother of Madison, Michael, Christopher, Lily, Makayla, Maya, Asher, and Hudson, sister of Anna Mae Pauline, Shirley (Jack) Gardner, James (Diana) Williams, and John (Patricia) Guglielmi.

Carmella once was photographed by the world-renowned photographer and friend, Zoe Strauss. The photograph is an intimate portrait of Carmella as a breast cancer survivor, bravely exposing her mastectomy scars. Carmella's portrait, titled "Ashley's Grandmother", was shown in multiple exhibitions including Strauss' solo show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It was also published in the best-selling book "Zoe Strauss 10 years". Her portrait, like her memories will live forever.
