John N. Eckert 53 a lifelong resident of Collingdale passed away suddenly on July 19, 2017. A graduate of Collingdale High School and Widner University, John was employed by Home Depot MET Team. He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Man, crow tribe #423. An avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and Phillies Sports fan, he enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore and watching Major League Baseball. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Katherine Eckert and his brother Robert Eckert. Survivors: Loving brother of Richard (Lisa), Paul (Chris) and William (Megan), dear uncle of Scott and Justin, cherished nephew of Frederick Eckert and Robert Ellis and cousin Karen Eckert Zulli. Funeral Service: 9:30am Thurs at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 Viewing: 7-9Wed. and 8:30-9:30am Thurs. at the funeral home.
