Obituary of John J Kennedy

John J. Kennedy Jr. " Buster" age 72 of Collingdale passed away on December 5, 2017.

Born and raised in Yeadon and Philadelphia, Buster retired from the Borough of Collingdale where he worked for the Highway Department. He was a kind, funny and loving man that would always tell it like it is.

He was a past Boy Scout and Demolay Leader. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and trips to the shore. His greatest love was spending time with his family, friends and his animals especially his Pomeranians.

He is predeceased by his daughter Becky Sue Kennedy, son Mark Kennedy, sister Patricia Copper, brother in laws Philip and Russell Onimus and his parents John and Dolores Kennedy.

Survivors: Beloved husband of Brenda Sue Kennedy, Loving father of Shawn (Marie) Kennedy, Tina Lare, Jeffrey Scott Kennedy, Frue Kennedy, Lisa(Sal) Rosales, Bryan Colledge, Daniel Kennedy, Cherished grandfather of Marc, Thomas, John, Michael, Bronx, Angelo, Alexis, Salvadore, Angel, Sammy, Kacy, Beau, TY, TJ, Lauren, Megan and Kathleen, Great grandfather of Cameron, Christina Joy and Emma Marie, dear brother of Dolores(Buzz) Hack, brother in law of Donald (Lorraine) Onimus, Willi (Judy) Onimus and Chris Onimus, father in law of Tim, uncle of Ricky Plummer and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his (adopted) children.

Funeral Service: Saturday at 11am at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036

Viewing: Saturday, 9-11am at the funeral home

Burial: Fernwood Cemetery.
