Charles T. McKemey Jr. "Cakes", age 77 and a long time resident of Colwyn passed away on January 22, 2018 surrounded by his family.

 

A graduate of Sharon Hill High School Class of 1959, Charlie retired from Coca-Cola.

A life member of Darby Fire Patrol #2 and Darby Fire Company #1, he enjoyed the comradery of his many friends at the fire house. Charlie was an avid Eagles and Sixers fan who also had a collection of trains and coins. In the summer, he enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while visiting the shore.

 

He is predeceased by his parents Charles and Anne McKemey.

 

Survivors: Beloved husband of Patricia McKemey (nee Teta) , loving father of Charles T. McKemey III, and Lisa (Joe) Sabatino.

 

Visitation: 9:30-11AM, Saturday at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, 343 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden PA 19036

 

Funeral Service: 11AM Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Burial: Private

 

Contributions can be made to Temple University Hospital, C/O Dr. Forfia, Pulmonary Hypertension, in memory of Charles McKemey, 3401 N. Broad St., Parkinsons Pavilion, Suite 945, Phila. PA. 19140.
