Obituary of Joseph J. McBride

Joseph J. McBride "Joe", age 71 of Collingdale, passed away on March 30, 2018. Joe was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and was happy to recently fulfill his lifelong wish of seeing his favorite team win the Superbowl. He was a dedicated member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church where he designated himself the greeter. He loved all members of the church, especially the pastor and his wife. Joe always enjoyed making people laugh. When asked how he's doing, his response was always "I'm wonderful!" Survivors: Loving husband of Marie McBride, cherished father of Joseph "Joey" McBride, Dawn McBride, Kim (Bill) Johnson, and Joseph McBride IV, brother of Cecilia Hoban and Louise Schwenke, grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 3. Funeral Service: 7PM on Thursday April 5th, at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 716 Amosland Rd., Morton PA 19070. Visitation: 5-7PM on Thursday at the church.
