Obituary of James P. Ruane, Sr.

James P. Ruane, Sr. "Jim", age 95 and a long time resident of Collingdale, passed away on June 4, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Jim served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II. He later retired from SEPTA.
He is predeceased by his wife Margaret "Peg" Ruane, daughter Rosella R. Ruane, sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Gudmundsen and Mary Ruane, and brother David Ruane.
Survivors: Loving father of James (Terry) Ruane, Kathleen (Lew) Kralle, and Bryant Ruane, longtime companion of Shirley Miller, cherished grandfather of Kimberly, Michael, Veronica, Chris, Danny, Adam, and Jami, great grandfather of 9, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 10AM on Friday at St. Joseph's Church, 500 Woodlawn Ave., Collingdale PA 19023.
Visitation: 9-10AM on Friday at the church.
Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
