Gavin Wyatt Wolbach, age 2 of Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2018. Gavin was a happy, loving, handsome, strong, smart and funny little boy. He had an unforgettable, contagious smile and he was exceptionally successful with getting others to reciprocate. He loved to splash water in the tub, swimming pools, kid splash pools, and even in the Atlantic Ocean. He enjoyed dancing to music and making some of his also own with piano, guitar, drums, or one of his several baby xylophones. Some of his favorite songs were "The Itsy, Bitsy Spider", "Hello, Hello", "The Wheels on the Bus", "Baby Shark", and "If You're Happy and You Know It", with corresponding dance moves. He was a master at putting together puzzles. His favorite colors were blue and purple. He loved tasty food and drinks. Gavin enjoyed being pushed in a swing and loved exploring all the fun things playgrounds have to offer. Gavin loved to laugh with others and was more than his parents could have ever hoped for in an incredible baby boy. Gavin is the beloved son of Mikaela Polman and Jason Wolbach, cherished grandson of Laura Wolbach, Steven and Dona Wolbach, Audrey Tomick and Bill Sheppit, and Garrett and Etsuko Polman, dear nephew of Sharlene and Paul Richardson, Evan Polman, Stevie and the late Amy Wolbach, Lauren Wolbach and Michael Frizzle and cousin of Vivian, Simon, Naiya, and Hallie. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 11am at Springfield Baptist Church, 184 North Norwinden Drive Springfield, PA 19064 Visitation will be held from 10-11am at the church Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery In lieu of flowers contributions to the Children Hospital Of Philadelphia, PICU, 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA. 19104 would be appreciated.
