Obituary of Shawn M. Goetz

Shawn M. Goetz age 33 passed away on September 27, 2018 after a long battle with addiction. Born and raised in Clifton Heights, Shawn made his home in York Pa for the last 8 years. He graduated from St Eugene Grade School and Upper Darby High School class of 2005. He worked as a industrial roofer and laborer for several companies. Shawn was avid Eagles fan who enjoyed listening to heavy metal bands, bowling and fishing. He loved spending time with his beloved family especially his son. Shawn had a bright smile, a warm and caring heart to his loved ones He is predeceased by his son Sonny M. Goetz, his father Joseph Goetz Sr., and his grandmother Annamarie Lahey. Survivors: Loving father of Jakoda Christopher Goetz and his mother and Shawn significant other Ettajae, beloved son of Patricia (Antonino "Nino") Prestipino, loving brother of Melissa Goetz, Joseph(Jeannie) Goetz Jr., and Christopher (Tayrn)Goetz, stepbrother of Tony ( Jessica) Prestipino, Marialana (Matthew) Crispin, dear grandson of William Lahey and 1 niece, many nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Memorial Service: Tuesday, October 16 at 11am at St Pius Church, 204 Lawrence Rd. Broomall, PA. 19008 Visitation: Tuesday, October 16 from 10-11am at the church. Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery In lieu of flowers a donation in Shawn's memory for a scholarship fund will be set up in his name to the MVP Recovery Program, (Sober Living Program) 2412 Providence Ave. Chester PA. 19013 would be appreciated.
