Obituary of Stephen Skalicky

Stephen Skalicky age 81 of Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's and Cancer.

Steve was a 1956 graduate of Bishop Neumann High School. He served 6 years in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a retired member of IBEW, LU #98 Electricians.

Steve enjoyed bowling, fishing, crabbing and spending time with his family.

He is predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Anna Skalicky, cousin, Tom Haughey, sister-in-law Marianna Dorian and brothers-in-law Angelo Marchesani and Raymond Dorian.

He is survived by his wife Betsy of 58 years, his daughters Madeline Wolff, Mary (Gary) Smith; grandchildren Amanda, Matthew, Jake and Zack; brother Robert (Nancy); cousin Ann Haughey and her children, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Josephine Marchesani, Bill Cowchok and Madeline (Dave) Tunison and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Friday, June 28, 2019 at St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19142.

Visitation: 9:30-10:30 AM at the church.

Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

In lieu of flowers you may choose to make a donation to St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19142 in Steve's name.
