He was amongst my best friends. A good man who had a prayer warriors’ heart. Excellent council, street smart, straight forward convictions, and so many other reliable attributes.
He was my amateur radio buddy and my boat buddy.
My Long Island boat trips will never be the same without him.
He understood my NY sense of humor and encouraged it.
He wrote excellent social-spiritual commentary regarding the troubled age we live in.
He was a part of that generation that never quit. He worked the problem through rather than just sit there dazed and confused.
He was one of the few men I could talk to about troubling matters and he would always have a companion piece to match my observations, so I knew he was on board.
I haven’t begun to factor in his absence from my life.
When I do... it will be a great chasm.
