Domenick Marchesani, age 94 of Broomall, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2024. He was born and raised in South Philadelphia and very proud of his Italian heritage. Domenick retired from the American Baking Company (ABC Italian Bread Company) where he serviced the Northeast Philadelphia area for 35 years. After retirement, Dom went to work for the Gershman Y in Center City for the next 10 years as Head of the Maintenance Department because he could solve any mechanical problem that occurred. He spent a great deal of time in his home workshop creating furniture and had an uncanny ability to fix whatever required repair. A longtime faithful parishioner of St. Pius X Church, he was a humble, gentle man who was fair, self-sacrificing and honorable. He was passionately devoted to his family, who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his parents Dominick and Anna Marchesani and his siblings Claire, Julie, Josie, Rita, Angelo, Jimmy and baby Concetta.
